Last night I made Greek Lamb Pilaf with apricots and pistachios. The recipe also included rice, onion, cinnamon, parsley, salt and pepper and tomato purée. The slow cooked lamb was beautiful but overall tasted a little bland.

That’s a shame, unless you were going for bland 🙂
I followed the recipe to the letter and used water to stew the lamb in and then again when I added the rice. Next time I’ll use stock which should improve the taste. Otherwise, the lamb was declicious!
